CV-Library has been shortlisted as Best Job Board for the fourth year running at the annual Global Recruiter Awards.
The leading job board has also made it as a finalist in the Best Marketing Campaign category following the launch of their multiple offline advertising campaigns.
Lee Biggins, Managing Director of CV-Library: “It’s great that the Global Recruiter Awards still recognise our impact on the market and even though we won Best Job Board last year it doesn’t mean this is less important to us now. Year on year we work harder to establish ourselves as one of the UK’s leading job boards and the launch of our offline marketing campaign in 2012 is one of the biggest investments we’ve made yet.”
Adding offline adverts to their marketing portfolio was a big step for the independent job board. Traditionally, all of CV-Library’s marketing activity and candidate attraction has been via online platforms but thanks to their continued growth they have opted to raise their brand awareness even more through TV adverts, London Underground adverts and artwork at key commuter stations.
Recent analysis shows that more candidates than ever are searching for CV-Library directly, demonstrating that their brand awareness has increased by 39% year on year. They are also receiving record breaking traffic with over 200,000 new CVs registering in January alone and 1.5 million job applications.
“More and more candidates are re-visiting our site and I’d like to think this is because we’re advertising more than ever and we’ve continued to give them what they want; from our mobile site and Apps to the 1-Click Apply option” Biggins adds.
Recent Experian Hitwise statistics highlight CV-Library as being the only job board to see an increase in market share during 2012 and their title as the largest UK CV database remains. This can certainly be assigned, in part, to their increased brand awareness following the launch of their offline marketing campaigns in early 2012.
CV-Library remains focused on attracting new candidates to the site but they have also launched a big retargeted strategy in order to engage with existing users and bring them back to the jobs. With a sharp increase in the number of live vacancies to the site it’s a great platform for candidates from any sector to begin their job hunt.
Find out who all of the winners are at the Global Recruiter awards ceremony on Thursday 17th June at Café de Paris, London.
