Dancing with the Stars lost its Bachelor – Sean Lowe was sent packing in Tuesday night’s elimination. The former Bachelor star’s performances on Monday failed to earn praise from the judges and ended up putting him at the bottom of the scoreboard with just 42 out of a possible 60 points.
After his elimination, Lowe said he felt “blessed” to have been on the show. "I've enjoyed every second of [this experience]," he said. "I truly am blessed to have to have taken part in this with all these stars. I'm still just a normal guy from Dallas. What an incredible opportunity."
His pro partner Peta Murgatroyd said she had “so much fun.” "He is just the most humble, most wonderful guy that I could have asked for ... He's just made it so much fun for me,” she added.
Now that he no longer has Dancing commitments, Lowe says he plans to focus on spending time with fiancé Catherine Giudici. “This whole thing is a lot to handle," he told Us Weekly magazine. "I've gone from one show to the next the dast 12 to 14 months, something like that. It's nice now I'll have a little bit of a break, I can take a deep breath."
"We'll definitely take a vacation, relax, spend a lot of good quality time with her because Dancing has consumed my life these past few months," he added. "We're going to do a couple of weekend getaways and then we talked about doing one big vacation. We're definitely going to take advantage of the summer!”
The stars still in the running for the DWTS mirror ball trophy include Jacoby Jones, Kellie Pickler, Ingo Rademacher, Zendaya and Aly Raisman.
