“I have found over the years that the pet parents are looking for the best of everything to ensure their dog’s overall well-being,” said Jen. “Proper grooming is a big part of that, so I make sure that my canine clients are shown respect, care and patience while they are spending time with me. I want the best possible experience for both the dog and the owner, so grooming becomes a positive time for them!”
Jen has had a full-time grooming business in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last 13 years, and recently moved back to Bend to raise her family. With Bend receiving national attention for its dogs, dogs per capita and overall dog-friendliness, Jen is sure that there are many beloved family pets here in her hometown that will benefit from the services of Groom Bend.
“People really do stop us on the street and ask 'Who grooms your dog? She looks so beautiful!'” said Marina, Jen’s former client in San Anselmo, CA. “We miss her very kind, expert and professional presence here in California.”
Unlike many other groomers in the area, Groom Bend charges an hourly rate because of Jen’s belief that every dog is unique and can’t be judged on size, breed or coat condition. A full groom includes bath, hand drying, scissoring, clipper work, filed nails, glands and ears, and is customized per each dog’s needs and their owner’s desires. New client specials are being offered through the end of June to help celebrate her grand opening.
