Close-Up Talk Radio Spotlights Mary Stafford of Mind Body Therapies
Oro Valley, AZ – Life is too short to live in fear, distress, and anxiety. The paths we choose are often dictated by feelings deep within our soul. These feelings can ultimately limit the heights we can reach as individuals. With over 23 years experience, licensed professional counselor and founder of Mind Body Therapies Mary Stafford strives to help people achieve emotional freedom and overcome the limitations of the shaken mind.
“I received a Ph.D. in biochemistry and spent 10 years in the field. I went into academic science to discover something for the benefit of the fellow man. I became completely disillusioned with the industry after seeing the way people treated each other. There was no unity. It was all me, me, me. It was publish or perish.”
The desire to help her fellow man led Mary to leave biochemistry, return to school, and earn her Master’s degree in Counseling to begin her extensive career actually making a difference in people’s lives. Utilizing Thought Field Therapy (THT) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Mary is able to assist people of all ages facing a multitude of serious life obstacles including depression, addiction, stress, physical pain, post-traumatic disorder, phobias, and weight/health management to name a few.
“The beauty of Emotional Freedom Techniques is that anyone can learn it. Anyone can use it. I’m able to teach and train both professionals and individuals eager to learn the techniques that enable people to alleviate many issues without any adverse side effects.”
At www.mindbodytherapy.com, people can view all of the wonderful services that Mary offers. As an EFT master, Mary connects easily with people in order to instruct them on the various levels of EFT training. Strong word-of-mouth and memberships in the American Counselors Association, Arizona Counselors Association, and the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology have genuinely helped Mary build an impressive client base.
“This is truly an incredibly fulfilling career. It’s so easy to show people how to help themselves. I live to see their faces as they learn the techniques. When people learn to tap into the issues and find the underlying causes of stress, then their not going to get sick. For the last 15 years, mental health practitioners using EFT have taken research to the American Psychology Association to try to gain acceptance of EFT only to be refused up until this year. This year the APA is finally allowing psychologists to receive training in EFT. It’s a great breakthrough for the industry and for all of those in need.”
Mary Stafford will be featured on Close-Up Talk Radio in a two-part series with hosts Jim Masters and Doug Llewelyn at www.blogtalkradio.com/closeuptalkradio on May14th and May 21st. Both shows will air live at 6pm EST.
