Students Have New Help with College Interview Preparation

High school students preparing for college are missing out on one important piece of the college prep puzzle - the college interview.

While most students practice hard for SAT or ACT tests to help qualify them for the best colleges, they and their parents have overlooked the pragmatic value of being able to present well in the interview with college representatives.

A new DVD series, Teen Vocal Power, a joint venture between vocal awareness guru, Arthur Samuel Joseph, and teen learning expert, Bobbi DePorter, addresses this important aspect of college preparation. This course teaches high school students how to speak with anyone at any time and to present oneself more confidently. The program consists of two DVDs and an outstanding Study Guide contained on a CD-ROM.

Arthur Samuel Joseph, the “Vocal Trainer to the Stars,” is recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities on the human voice and its training. His Vocal Awareness System has helped thousands of people, including Angelina Jolie and Pierce Brosnan.

Bobbi DePorter is the founder and president of Quantum Learning Network, a learning and life skills training company that runs SuperCamp
academic summer camps and Quantum Learning school programs for students and teachers.

Ms. DePorter believes this DVD program presents a huge upside for teens both while they're in high school and as they prepare to embark on a college career. "Grades are important, as is a student's extra-curricular involvement," says DePorter. "But how a college applicant presents himself or herself during the interview can be the tie-breaker in whether he or she is accepted at a particular school."

More information on the Teen Vocal Power series is available in the What's New section of the Quantum Learning Network home page (www.QLN.com) and at the TeenVocalPower website.
