Silver Companies Rise in Tuesday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top silver companies saw strong increases in Tuesday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies show a variety of results by noon in trading:

Hecla Mining (NYSE: ML) rose 5 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $4.38.

Pan American Silver (NASDAQ: PAAS) rose 7 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $21.76.

Silver Standard (NASDAQ: SSRI) rose 25 cents, or 1.3 percent, to $19.24.

Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW) rose 7 cents, or .5 percent, to $13.08.
