Serendipity lent a hand in formulating Omega Whey’s campaign strategy.

Last time I checked in on Creative Bube Tube they were jetting off to Frankfurt, Germany, to shoot the Sisto Jeans commercial which turned out to be a resounding success both creatively and commercially, so I thought I’d check back in on this exciting company and see ‘what’s up?’

 

Creative Bube Tube, whose offices are based out of Mississauga, Ontario, is an up-tempo T.V. and Internet commercial production company who “write, direct, shoot, produce, edit, animate, plan and buy air time – whatever it takes”, were busting to let me in on their latest happening; They were excited to announce that NutraBlend Food Inc. – the nutriceutical division of Grober Group based in Cambridge, Ontario, recently launched their brand new television marketing initiative to promote their exciting new product, Omega Whey Protein Isolate Drink.

 

NutraBlend Inc. was trying to find the most effective way to showcase their compelling new product, Omega Whey and it’s unique-to-the-marketplace qualities. The Omega Whey drink which cleverly blends Omega 3s and their health-promoting benefits with the highest quality whey protein isolate, is targeted at sports and health & fitness enthusiasts and required a marketing campaign to address this demographic. Andreas Padvaiskas, the Vice-President for Marketing for the Omega Whey brand, recognized that he needed the help of people with experience and knowledge of the health and fitness industry: “We needed a company that had a depth of understanding of the potential of our product to help us connect with our target market.” …Enter into the picture Creative Bube Tube.

 

Specifically, enter into the picture Jenny Munford, Creative Bube Tube’s energetic and visionary President. A life-long fitness enthusiast, Ms. Munford had vast experience in creating visual media for the fitness industry including pioneering a top-selling western- European fitness video. Ms. Munford immediately recognized the uniqueness of the Omega Whey product and its’ potential and quickly, in concert with Padvaiskas, sketched out a T.V. commercial marketing strategy. As Ms. Munford put it; “It really was a no-brainer…they had such a great product in Omega Whey, they just needed directioning in video-casing that product and shaping out an effective marketing plan.” Serendipity also lent a hand in formulating that campaign strategy.

 

In addition to her own experience in the realm of fitness, Ms. Munford was intrinsically wired into the world of elite sports and fitness. It turns out that Jenny’s husband is a former pro-football player and an award-winning, renowned Athletic Performance Specialist! Chris Munford, played 6-seasons in the Canadian Football League and is now a highly sought-after expert in the field of fitness and High Performance Training. Mr. Munford works daily helping professional, collegiate and Olympic caliber athletes reach their peak performance potential and had been a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in the N.B.A. In addition to training athletes, “Chris lectures extensively, has vast experience in the media and his gregarious nature appeared to be the tie-in that the Omega Whey folks were looking for”, said Jenny Munford.

 

Combining Chris Munford’s sports training knowledge and credibility with an upbeat T.V. campaign seems to be the quick jump that Omega Whey was looking for as they are already seeing an immediate return on their initiative.  Creative Bube Tube again appears to have hit aces in connecting with a company who was looking to leap into the T.V. commercial arena!
