A wedding is in the works for Savannah Guthrie. The Today show co-host is engaged to her long time boyfriend, Michael Feldman. She announced her engagement on Monday’s show.
"I got engaged over the weekend. I just came in wearing this ring, hoping one of my colleagues would notice. ... and no one noticed!" she said.
"Our families basically have been in-laws for years," joked Guthrie. "They've just been waiting for us to catch up.”
"Good for you and congratulations to Mr. Feldman," said Matt Lauer. "He's a great guy."
After Al Roker joked about having a Today wedding, Guthrie insisted the nuptials won’t be filmed. "Don't even think about it," said Guthrie.
Guthrie, 41, and Feldman have been together for 4 years. This will be the second marriage for Guthrie – she was previously married for 4 years to BBC News’ Mark Orchard.
