Future Electronics Offers Immediate Availability of TE CoolSplice Connectors

Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, announces immediate availability of CoolSplice connectors from TE.

TE Connectivity's (TE) CoolSplice connectors are designed to connect a pair of discrete wires, or a twin cord cable in line to a pair of discrete wires or twin cord cables. The insulation displacement, free hanging connectors are available in either 18 AWG or 20-22 AWG stranded or solid wire in unsealed and sealed, color coded configurations.

TE's CoolSplice connectors eliminate the need to pre-strip the insulation from the wire conductors and provide a visual controlled termination. The push connect buttons provide a more ergonomic wire termination than conventional twist-on wire connectors/nuts (marrettes). The slim, symmetrical contoured, snag resistant connectors fit through a 16.00mm [0.630] diameter hole or PVC tube.

Featuring simple push button termination, reliable insulation displacement technology, left/right side independent terminations, TE's CoolSplice connectors have a slim-symmetrical glossy appearance and are available in sealed and unsealed versions.

Typical applications include outdoor architectural lighting, commercial display cabinet lighting, commercial refrigeration lighting, residential and office furniture lighting, and security/alarm systems.
