Nyer Medical Group, Inc.'s (NASDAQ: NYER) wholly owned subsidiary D.A.W., Inc. dba Eaton Apothecary, and Nyer entered a definitive agreement with Walgreen Eastern Co., Inc. The agreement is for the sale of a portion of DAW's operating assets, including prescription files and inventory of a total of 12 neighborhood pharmacies which include the assignment of eight leases. The purchase price is $12 million plus a qualifying inventory of $5.75 million and $1.1 million of operating equipment.
