NBA Scores: Ben Wallace Leads Chicago Bulls Charge over the Cleveland Cavaliers

Ben Wallace had a monster game and the Chicago Bulls (31-25) held the Cleveland Cavaliers (32-23) to just 31 points in the first half in their 84-78 win Thursday night.

Wallace finished with 14 points, 19 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 blocked shots to put together arguably his best game of the season. Usually a notorious free-throw shooter, Wallace even hit both his attempts from the foul line as the Bulls were perfect from the charity stripe on the night.

The same couldn’t be said for the Cavs who shot themselves in the foot with an 8-16 performance from the line. Cleveland struggled in just about every area of the game, and a 9 point second quarter didn’t help matters any.

Chicago out-rebounded the Cavs 52-40, had 12 more assists and blocked 7 more shots in the game.

LeBron James led Cleveland with 29 points and 7 rebounds but he hit just 2-8 from the foul-line.
