The former child actress - who won an Oscar aged 11 for her part in The Piano doesn’t mind baring all for scenes in her steamy US drama series True Blood but understands it is difficult for people to stop thinking of her as a sweet young star.
She said: It’s been a gradual evolution for me. It’s probably weird for people to watch it and if they have this image of me as a sweet little child, but it’s not weird for me.
