NBA Scores: Detroit Pistons Rally Past Orlando Magic in Fourth Quarter
Chauncey Billups scored 28 points and Rasheed Wallace finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons (35-19) took advantage of an Orlando Magic (27-29) fourth quarter collapse to win 94-89.
Heading into the final quarter the Magic were up by four but couldn’t hit a field goal until over ten minutes had elapsed in the fourth. By the time Orlando hit their first shot from the field the Pistons had built an 8-point lead with just over a minute remaining in the game.
Richard Hamilton added 22 points and 6 rebounds for the Pistons who beat the Magic for the second time in three nights.
Dwight Howard led the Magic with 20 points and 13 rebounds while Hedo Turkoglu added 20 in the loss.
