The Atlanta-based teenprenuers behind the KenediTreasure brand have four networks including two major cable stations considering their reality show which has just wrapped a six month shoot. “It took some getting used to have cameras follow us,” says 16 year-old Kenedi. “But then whenever we had interviews, we always were asked the same kinds of questions and so it kind of makes sense that all those questions about how we do what we do get answered.”

“I think it’s a real great opportunity to show that we didn’t get to our second year in business by sitting back with big expectations,” added Treasure, 17, who had her trip to New York as a finalist in the National Action Network Power of One competition documented. “The great thing about it is I think we opened up to show people that being in business is serious, picking a college is tough and giving back to the community is vital in order to succeed especially when you have a parent who supports what you do.”

As the family patriarch, Dave Bishop gives a positive look at a single black father raising two teenage daughters with the typical aspects of dating and homework, while ensuring he passes on his business skills. As Matthew Knowles nurtured Beyonce` and Solange’s singing careers and Richard Williams instilled the discipline to succeed in Venus and Serena’s tennis, Bishop is determined to do more than simply parent. Helping him with a bit of a female perspective needed in raising daughters is their aunt, stylist Kenia Burns.

“We’ve been getting a lot more feedback than we initially anticipated with the pilot episode,” reveled Bishop. “I’ve been told that it does appeal to young adults, parents and teens, and we’ve also got a couple celebrity appearances in there as well. Justin Douglas of Reel Life Vision produced the show in conjunction with Reign Filmworks and when we considered what all the other Atlanta-based reality shows were about, it turns out that this one offers a whole new premise which focuses on family first and business second.”
