Attorney John O Quinn Killed in Car Accident

Prominent Houston lawyer John O’Quinn was killed Thursday morning in a car accident. O’Quinn, a plaintiff’s attorney who took cases against the makers of breast implants, hazardous drugs and tobacco products, died after an SUV skidded across the median of Allen Parkway and slammed into a tree.

One other person, who has not been identified, was also killed. Texas police have not said whether O'Quinn or the other man was driving the vehicle.

No other details about O’Quinn’s death were available. He was 68.
