Aly Raisman Heartbroken Over DWTS Elimination

For Aly Raisman, not winning Dancing with the Stars was “heartbreaking.” The Olympic gymnast and her partner Mark Ballas were the first couple eliminated on Tuesday night’s season finale. They finished fourth behind Jacoby Jones in third, Zendaya in second and Kellie Pickler in first place.

"Right when they announced [our elimination], it was just heartbreaking. You work so hard and everyone wants to win,” she admitted to People magazine after the show.

"When I really stop and think about how lucky I am to be on the show, and what an amazing opportunity this was, and how much fun I had, it's okay," she said. "We have absolutely no regrets. We worked so hard and we had so much fun, so that's what counts."

"I was cheering for [the remaining contestants]. They were amazing. It was awesome. It was fun to watch. I was happy for them,” Raisman added.

Meanwhile, Pickler told Us Weekly magazine that she was “overwhelmed” after her win. "I'm overwhelmed with joy. I'm kind of speechless for the first time! Usually I can't be quiet! Usually I'm just spitting out words left and right, and now I don't know what to say,” she said.

“We've made so many memories out here on this dance floor and in the studio. We've all worked so hard to be her, and it's just overwhelming. But in a great way,” Pickler added.
