NBA Scores: Toronto Raptors Take Advantage of Injury Plagued Charlotte

Chris Bosh scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Toronto Raptors (31-25) were able to take advantage of several injuries in the Charlotte Bobcats (22-34) lineup to win 93-76.

Charlotte, already playing without Brevin Knight and Sean May, saw both Emeka Okafor and Gerald Wallace suffer injuries in the third quarter effectively ending any chance of handling the Raptors.

Okafor had held Bosh scoreless through the first half but once Charlotte’s big man went down there was nobody to stop Toronto’s most complete player. While there was nobody on the Bobcats who could stop Bosh, there also appeared to be an absence of Bobcats who could score. Charlotte shot 32 percent on the night and were a pitiful 4-21 from beyond the three-point line.

When the Raptors weren’t pounding the ball down to Bosh they were turning to Jose Calderon and T.J. Ford. Calderon finished with 16 points while Ford ended his night with 15.

The win was the Raptors second in a row and eighth in their last ten. For Charlotte, the loss snapped a four-game winning streak.
