Nine people are missing after a Coast Guard Plane and a
Marine helicopter collided over the Pacific Ocean Thursday night.
Rescue teams from the Navy and Coast guard are searching
the crash site, located about 25 miles from San Clemente Island, for survivors.
Around 7:10 p.m., a pilot reported seeing a fireball near where a Coast Guard
C 130 plane carrying 7 people collided with a Marine Corps AH 1 Cobra
helicopter carrying 2 people.
“We are throwing everything we can at this right now. We
are looking for survivors. They have seen debris in the water,” says U.S. Coast
