Alcatel-Lucent (ADR) (NYSE:ALU) is one of the most active losers in today`s trading sessions as it plunges over 9.11% to $3.79 on huge volume of 6.54 million shares after Reuters reported that Alcatel-Lucent confirmed the previous guidance that the Company would reach break even on an adjusted operating basis in fiscal 2009 but does not see it turning a net profit until the second half of 2010.

Novatel Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ:NVTL) fell 26% to $9.02 on huge volume of 4.96 million shares after the company posted strong quarterly results but warned that sales of its flagship mobile wi-fi product would be flat to down sequentially, sending its shares tumbling more than 18 percent. In the third quarter, Novatel earned $6.2 million, or 20 cents a share, compared with a loss of 1 million or 3 cents a share in the year-ago quarter.

McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) declines 7.09% to $40.65 on over 2.04 million shares after the company announced yesterday that for fourth quarter 2009 it expects net revenue in the range of $505 million to $525 million. The Company expects fourth quarter 2009 GAAP net income of $0.32 to $0.38 per diluted share and non-GAAP net income of $0.61 to $0.65 per diluted share. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenue of $507 million and EPS of $0.62 for fourth quarter 2009.
