About four months ago, True Blood star Marshall Allman and his wife Jamie Anne Allman welcomed their twin boys prematurely. Jamie Anne tells Us Weekly magazine that Asher and Oliver were born 81 days before their due date on January 31. The twins were allowed to go home late last month.
"Oliver was 2 lbs., 11 oz., and he was discharged at 7 lbs., 7 oz. Asher was 3 lbs., but he was discharged from the hospital at 8 lbs., 1 oz,” she says.
Jamie Anne also admits that her pregnancy was “horrible” with constant morning sickness, gestational diabetes and a shortened cervix that required bed rest. It was a bladder infection that caused the twins’ early birth. After they arrived via c-section, Marshall fainted. "I was so nervous because I wanted to help him and I couldn't do anything. So I just said, 'You gotta get out of here!'" she tells Us Weekly. "He started crawling out of the operating room on all fours."
"He was fine,” she adds. “We'll never forget that one because he videotaped the babies coming out, and right when they came out, boom! The camera stops.”
The Killing actress says her tough pregnancy will not hold her back from having more children. "I kind of want maybe four more," she says. "I think it's really amazing to have a big family. I've always wanted one."
