Academy Award for Best Achievement in Cinematography Goes to Pan’s Labyrinth

“Pan’s Labyrinth” collected an Oscar Award for Best Achievement in Cinematography beating out “The Black Dahlia,”  “Children of Men,” “The Illusionist,” and “The Prestige.”

It was Guillermo Navarro’s first Oscar Award for cinematography.

It was the third Academy Award presented to the film which also earned Oscars for Best Achievement in Art Direction and Best Achievement in Makeup.
