Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature beating out “Deliver Us from Evil,” “Iraq in Fragments,” “My Country, My Country,” and “Jesus Camp.”

“An Inconvenient Truth” was Al Gore’s documentary outlining the dangers of global warming and educating the world about climate change.

Davis Guggenheim produced and directed the documentary. This was his first Academy Award.
