Little Miss Sunshine Takes Academy Award for Best Writing Original Screenplay

Michael Arndt was presented an Academy Award for his work on “Little Miss Sunshine.”

Arndt won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, beating out Guillermo Arriaga’s “Babel,” Iris Yamashita and Paul Haggis’ “Letters from Iwo Jima,” Guillermo del Toro’s “Pan’s Labyrinth,” and Peter Morgan’s “The Queen.”
