Tony Romo was 21/36 passing for 256 yards and three touchdowns, Miles Austin added 61 yards receiving and a TD and Marion Barber collected 53 yards on the ground and a score as the Dallas Cowboys (5-2) drubbed the Seattle Seahawks (2-5) 38-17 on Sunday for their third straight win.
Seattle put the first points of the game on the board when Olindo Mare kicked a 43-yard field goal but Dallas answered on their next drive and Romo hit Sam Hurd on a 36-yard touchdown pass to take a 7-3 advantage into the second.
Marion Barber extended the lead to 14-3 in the opening minutes of the second he scored on a 2-yard run. The Seahawks stayed close though and pulled back to within four when Matt Hasselbeck found Deion Branch on a 23-yard touchdown pass. While Seattle remained close Dallas managed to build some breathing room in the final minute of the half when Romo hit Roy Williams on a 7-yard touchdown pass.
Dallas managed to put the game away late in the third quarter as Romo found Miles Austin on a 3-yard touchdown pass and less than two minutes later Patrick Crayton returned a punt 82-yards for a touchdown and the lead was extended to 35-10.
Nick Folk pushed the Cowboys advantage to 38-10 in the fourth before Hasselbeck tossed his second TD of the game, a 4-yarder to Justin Griffith, but by that point the game was already over.
