Kobe Bryant scored 21 of his 35 points from the free-throw line and Smush Parker buried six three-pointers to lift the Los Angeles Lakers (33-25) past the Utah Jazz (37-19) 102-94.
Bryant hit 21 of 24 from the line to make up for a 7-21 performance from the field. The Lakers All-Star finished with 8 rebounds and 4 assists as well as L.A. picked up a big road win in Utah.
While Bryant was busy hitting from the line, Parker was hitting from downtown as he finished his night 9-13 from the field including 6-8 from deep. Lamar Odom controlled the glass for the Lakers, pulling down 14 rebounds. Odom added 19 points and was one assist shy of recording a triple-double.
Derek Fisher led the Jazz with 23 points and 8 assists in the loss.
