Bobby Brown to Remain In Jail
In his days with New Edition, Bobby Brown and the group had a hit single “Mr. Telephone Man” in which he pleaded to the operator “there’s something wrong with my line, when I dial my baby’s number I get a click every time.” Now it seems obvious that the young crooner had more than likely just failed to pay his bill.
It seems to be a problem he has carried with him for some time now.
A judge in Norfolk Probate and Family Court has ordered that Brown remain in jail until he can pay $19,000 in late child support for his two teenage daughters with Kim Ward of Stoughton, Mass.
Brown has missed several payments in the past and has spent time behind bars for the delinquency. He is currently going through a divorce with his wife of 14 years, Whitney Houston.
