The Purge, starring Ethan Hawke, Lena Headey, Max Burkholder and Adelaide Kane, opens in theaters Friday, June 7. The thriller follows a family as they struggle to survive The Purge – an annual 12 hour period in which all crime, including murder, is legal.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 25 minutes and is rated R for strong disturbing violence and some language.
