Not only is Jennifer Love Hewitt set to become a mom, but she is also set to become a wife. Just a day after her pregnancy was announced, Hewitt’s rep has confirmed the actress is engaged to marry the father of her baby, actor Brian Hallisay.
“Yes, they are engaged,” the rep tells People magazine.
No other details on the proposal were released. Hewitt announced her pregnancy on Tuesday. “This is a wonderful time and we are looking forward to starting our family together,” she said in a statement.
Hewitt and Hallisay, both 34, have been dating for more than a year. They previously appeared together on NBC’s Love Bites and currently co-star on Lifetime’s The Client List.
Hewitt was previously engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall. After their split in 2008, Hewitt began dating her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy. They split in 2010.
