Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE:THC) rose 1% to $5.36 after it said it Tuesday that it lost $3 million, or 1 cent a share in the third quarter. In the same period a year ago, Tenet earned $104 million, or 22 cents a share. Net operating revenue rose 5.2% to $2.24 billion, compared to $2.13 billion a year ago. Analysts polled by FactSet Research estimated, on average, a loss per share of 2 cents and sales of $2.23 billion.
