The Phoenix Suns (44-13) out-scored the Indiana Pacers (29-27) 30-13 in the fourth quarter to stage a huge come-back and win 103-92. The Suns had trailed by 18 points with five minutes remaining in the third quarter before shutting the Pacers offense down.
Phoenix held the Pacers to just one basket in the final five minutes of the third quarter to cut the lead to six and then were able to grab the lead in the fourth on a three-pointer from Steve Nash.
Nash finished with 25 points and 11 assists while Amare Stoudemire finished with 23 points and 18 rebounds in the win. The victory improved the Suns’ road record against Eastern Conference teams to 14-0.
Jermaine O’Neal led the Pacers with 28 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists.
