Farrah Abraham avoided getting jail time in her DUI case, but she didn’t get off completely scot-free. The former Teen Mom star, who previously denied that she was driving drunk when she was arrested in Nebraska in March, accepted a plea deal in the case this week. She originally pleaded not guilty.
In exchange for her guilty plea, the 22-year-old will received no jail time but was put on six months of probation. She is also required to remain alcohol free for the next six months and must install a device in her car that will require her to take a breathalyzer test before the car will start. Abraham was given a $500 fine.
In April, the reality star-turned-porn star appeared on Dr. Phil and denied drunk driving. She claimed that she was actually sitting in a parked car when an officer pulled up and gave her a breathalyzer test. She blew .147, which is almost twice the legal limit.
“I was parked … I drove around the corner and parked,” she said. "If I was still driving and then the cop pulled me over then, yeah, that's really driving drunk.”
TMZ reported that Abraham was stopped because she nearly turned into a police car.
The MTV star most recently made headlines for selling her sex tape with adult film star James Deen to porn distributor Vivid Entertainment. Vivid released the footage under the name Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.
