Dirk Nowitzki finished with 23 points and 14 rebounds Josh Howard proved his sprained ankle was in good health, scoring 17 points and grabbing 7 boards as the Dallas Mavericks (48-9) coasted to a 91-65 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves (26-31).
The Mavericks held the Wolves to just 8 points in the second quarter and 27 in the first half to build a 15-point lead and never looked back as they won their 13th straight.
Dallas finished the game with a 54-39 advantage on the glass and shot 45 percent from the field compared to a lowly 29 percent from the Timberwolves.
Jason Terry added 18 points and 7 assists while DeSagana Diop came off the bench to score 6 points and pull down 10 boards for Dallas.
Kevin Garnett led Minnesota with 15 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.
