Mickey Andrews, the defensive coordinator for the Florida State Seminoles since 1984, has announced he will retire at the end of the season.
Andrews, 68, made his decision known through a statement released by the school, In that statement Andrews was quoted as saying, “"For 47 years it's been about me, now it's time to be about us -- my family.”
Florida State has won two national championships during Andrews’ tenure, all served under head coach Bobby Bowden.
