Flowers Foods, Inc. (Flowers Foods) is a producer and marketer of bakery products in the United States. Flower Foods operates forty bakeries focused on the production of a variety of bakery products sold to stores throughout the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southwest, California and Nevada. Flowers Foods consists of two business segments: direct-store-delivery (DSD) and warehouse delivery. The warehouse delivery segment produces snack cakes for sale to co-pack, retail and vending customers, as well as frozen bread, rolls and buns for sale to retail and foodservice customers primarily through warehouse distribution. On August 4, 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of ButterKrust Bakery. On August 11, 2008, the Company merged with Holsum Holdings, LLC. (Holsum). In October 2009, Flowers Foods, Inc. acquired Leo's Foods, Inc.
