It’s over for Jane Lynch and wife Lara Embry. After three years of marriage, the women have decided to call it quits. The reason for their split remains unclear.
“Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter," Lynch tells People magazine in a statement.
No other details were immediately available.
The Glee actress met Embry, a psychologist, in 2009. They tied the knot in Sunderland, Massachusetts in May 2010. In 2010, Lynch opened up about loving married life and her stepdaughter, Hayden.
"I love it! I always wanted to have a partner. I always wanted to have someone to walk through life with, and I really have not had that before. We spend all day together and we make home together very well. We all watch the show (Glee). My daughter loves it, so the three of us watch it together,” she said.
Lynch currently stars in Broadway’s Annie: The Musical.
