Tiger Woods’ former mistress is about to be single again! Rachel Uchitel’s husband of less than 2 years, insurance executive and former Penn State fullback Matt Hahn, has filed for divorce.
In documents filed on Monday, June 10, Hahn cited Uchitel’s “cruel and inhumane treatment” of him as the reason for their breakup. He is also stated that “the conduct of the defendant [Rachel] so endangers the physical or mental well being of the plaintiff as renders it unsafe or improper for the plaintiff to cohabit with the defendant.” Hahn is said to be seeking full custody of their 1-year-old daughter Wyatt as well as child and spousal support.
According to reports, the split came after a series of heated arguments. Uchitel allegedly got physical in one incident, slapping Hahn when he called her names.
Uchitel has not responded to Hahn’s filing, but she did release a statement. "It is Ms. Uchitel's goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media," her rep told Us Weekly in a statement. "No further details of the action are being released at this time by Ms. Uchitel."
The former nightclub hostess shot to fame in 2010 when her affair with Tiger Woods was revealed. She wed Hahn in October 2011 and gave birth to Wyatt in May 2012.
