A night after recovering from an 18-point deficit to defeat the Indiana Pacers to improve to 14-0 in road games against the Eastern Conference, the Phoenix Suns (44-14) fell to 14-1 after losing to the Philadelphia 76ers (20-38) 99-94.
Phoenix, who played just seven men, trailed by 12 after the first quarter and could never get back in the game.
Andre Iguodala led the Sixers with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists while Willie Green dropped an additional 20. Samuel Dalembert controlled the galls for Philly with 12 boards.
Philadelphia finished the game shooting 71 percent from beyond the three-point arc and hit all 18 of their free-throws. Phoenix hit 10 3’s of their own but attempted 26 to finish at 36 percent.
Amare Stoudemire had 31 points and 14 rebounds while Steve Nash ended the night with 23 points and 9 assists.
