Call me Kuchu, starring David Kato and Christopher Senyonjo, opens in theaters Friday, June 14. The documentary follows the last year of David Kato, Uganda’s first openly gay man. Kato spent his final days trying to defeat legislation that would make homosexuality punishable by death. He was murdered in January 2011.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 30 minutes and is not rated.
