Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE:TAP) jumped up 3% to $51 after said Wednesday that third-quarter earnings were $235.3 million, or $1.26 a share, compared to $171.3 million, or 92 cents a share, in the year-ago period. On an adjusted basis, the brewer earned $1.14 a share compared to 93 cents. Analysts polled by FactSet Research expected, on average, earnings of 94 cents a share.
