Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has been awarded a contract modification for engineering services for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense system. The contract is valued at $5.8 million. This is the eighth modification to the $128 million contract awarded in January 2009 by the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal. Raytheon will provide system analysis, software and hardware engineering, testing and logistics support.
