Kim Kardashian and Kanye West became parents earlier than expected. Kardashian delivered their daughter at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood on Saturday, five weeks ahead of her due date. Insiders say West was present for the baby’s birth.
The baby, who reportedly weighed in just under 5 lbs., is healthy. Her name has not been revealed, but insiders say it starts with a K. No other details were immediately available.
Since the delivery, the Kardashian family has been gushing about the youngest addition. "I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family," Khloe Kardashian tweeted. "Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love."
Mom Kris Jenner told HLN that Kim and the baby are fine. "We're all fine. We're all good and extremely happy and thrilled for the new baby. She's doing great and she's beautiful! So very exciting,” she said.
Jenner made sure to congratulate West on his first Father’s Day. "HAPPY FATHERS DAY @kanyewest !!!!!!" she tweeted.
West announced Kardashian’s pregnancy at an Atlantic City concert last December. The baby’s gender was revealed on the season premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians earlier this month.
