Blake Shelton’s Contestant Danielle Bradbery Wins The Voice

On Tuesday’s season finale of The Voice, 16-year-old Texas native Danielle Bradbery beat Michelle Chamuel and the Swon Brothers for the winning title. Bradbery was so emotional after her win that she struggled to finish her final performance on The Voice stage.

"I don't even know right now. I'm so thankful. I'm sorry … I'm speechless," she said.

Earlier in the night, Bradbery praised her coach Blake Shelton for his guidance throughout the season. "You're an amazing coach and you're an amazing person," she said. "You taught me so much and I'm so thankful to have you in my life and I love you so much."

This is Shelton’s third Voice win – his contestants Jermaine Paul and Cassadee Pope won season 2 and season 3 respectively.

"I think it's the most important win we have had so far on The Voice because Danielle is the first winner of The Voice that had no professional experience in the past," he told People magazine on Tuesday. "Her biggest performances ever were for her family at Thanksgiving."

"People are just wrapped around her finger for a reason," Shelton added. "God sprinkled just a little bit more on Danielle Bradbery than he did the rest of us and I'm just glad to call her a friend."
