Kanye West is being very protective of Kim Kardashian and their newborn daughter, who was born early Saturday about 3 to 5 weeks premature. Insiders say West has not left Cedars Sinai Medical Center where both Kardashian and the baby remain under the care of doctors.
"Kanye hasn't left Kim and the baby's side," a source tells People magazine. "He's been in the room for days making sure everything is perfect for the two of them."
Meanwhile, the couple has reportedly picked out a name for their baby girl, but they don’t plan to share it with fans right now. A source tells Us Weekly magazine that reports of the name starting with a ‘K’ are “definitely” not true.
"They're not quite ready to announce the name yet," says the source. “But the name definitely does not start with a K, despite all the rumors that have been out."
"Everybody is doing great. The baby is so sweet. Kanye is in love,” the insider adds.
Kardashian has yet to release a statement about her daughter, but Ryan Seacrest read a short e-mail from her earlier this week. “Can’t believe it! It’s so crazy!” she wrote to Seacrest.
