Shooting at Fort Hood Military Base in Texas Leaves at least 7 Dead, 12 Wounded

A mass shooting at the Fort Hood army base located just north of Austin, Texas has left at least seven people dead and 12 more injured.

The shooting was believed to be carried out by two men, both dressed in army fatigues, yet it is not known if the men were actually soldiers. Officials have said one of the shooters was in custody while a second remains loose.

There have been no reports on the identities of the victims or whether they were military or civilians.

Fort Hood is now on lockdown.
