Oxygen Education to Present Manufacturing Education Session at ITEC 2009

Oxygen Education, LLC, a market leading developer of digital content for technical education and workforce development, today announced it will present a breakout session at the Illinois Technology Education Conference (ITEC) 2009 in November in Peoria, Illinois. The presentation will showcase Oxygen Education’s online advanced manufacturing education curriculum that is being used to train thousands of workers to succeed in the 21^st century workforce.

Oxygen’s “Online Advanced Manufacturing Education for the 21^st Century” session will be presented Friday, November 13, 1:45 to 2:35 p.m. The session will: 

•  Present an alternative to conventional methods of preparing student for skills-based jobs.  
• Identify the benefits of using online courses to address the challenges of workforce education.
• Demonstrate Oxygen Education’s interactive, competency-based content for technical education and workforce development.
