Scuba.com Connects Divers Online With New Dive Buddy Maps

Scuba Divers are social creatures who are passionate about life and eager to connect with one another online.  That's why Scuba.com has expanded their free Diver Webpage community with an interactive dive buddy map which makes it fun and easy to find fellow divers based on where they live.

Users can click, drag, and zoom in on the interactive world map to see dots representing other divers in the community throughout the world. Clicking on any diver’s dot takes you to their diver profile where you can strike up a conversation, or check out their latest scuba diving photos.

There are currently over 900 divers participating from 60 countries with close to 1,700 scuba diving photos and over 700 dive slate comments.  The site continues to grow daily as new members join the online community and upload photos.

In addition to the new mapping features, there is an easy-to-use search which allows divers to find each other based on location, country, interests, favorite dive gear, favorite dive locations, activities, music, books, TV, and movies.  Divers can find others who are looking for dive buddies, or those looking for love.

Free membership to the Scuba.com Diver Webpages allows anyone to create their own personalized webpage complete with photo uploads and info about themselves. Every member can choose a fun and easy to remember web page name, like
Scuba.com/me/diverchix All this is quick and easy to setup, even for divers who don't know anything about the web.

diver pages here to connect with divers from all over the world and discuss diving locations, favorite gear, travel advice, and anything else of interest. Anyone with an account can interact with others by using our dive slate commenting system.

Everyone is encouraged to
setup a free account before all the good names are taken.  Anyone with a complete account can enter the Diver Webpage Contest for a chance to win a $100 Scuba.com gift certificate. But hurry, because this contest ends soon, and you'll want enough time to collect votes to win.

Whether you're looking for a dive buddie, looking for love, or just interested in meeting others excited about scuba diving, the Scuba.com Diver Webpage community is the best place to go.
