The latest drama in Farrah Abraham’s life is a rehab stint for alcohol abuse. The newly-minted porn star entered a 10 day outpatient program at Lukens Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida late Sunday night. Abraham, who recently cut a deal to avoid jail time in her DUI case, released a statement saying she wants to “make better choices.”
"At this time in my life, I need to stay focused on the positive to get through all of the negative that a DUI has caused in my life," she said. "I'm 22 and I want to make better choices and ensure I can recognize when I am putting myself in a bad situation next time.”
RadarOnline.com reports Abraham is paying more than $12,000 for her rehab stint. She has reportedly left her 4-year-old daughter Sophia in the care of dad Mike.
Abraham, who most recently made headlines for releasing a sex tape through Vivid Entertainment, was arrested for drunk driving in Omaha, Nebraska in March. She accepted a plea deal last month that required her to plead guilty in exchange for no jail time. Abraham was placed on 6 months of probation and was required to complete an alcohol education class. She was also forced to pay a $500 fine and install a device in her car that will require her to take a breathalyzer test before the car will start. Abraham must remain alcohol free during probation.
