Big Brother 15 Recap: Week 1 Have Not Competition, Nominations

It looks like there will be plenty of showmance drama on Big Brother 15. Episode 2 starts with a look at the girl/guy dynamics in the house. Judd is clearly in to GinaMarie, but it doesn’t look like the attraction is reciprocated. Jessie claims she is already in a Twilight-esque love triangle with Jeremy and Nick, but Jeremy seems to be open to flirting with any girl in the house while Nick hasn’t shown interest in anything but the game. Aaryn and David appear to be the only two people on the same page when it comes to a showmance. They like each other and agree to become a power couple in the game.

The first mega alliance of the season is formed by Nick and Jeremy. Nick comes up with a plan to pull himself, Jeremy, Howard, Spencer and McCrae together for a secret final 5 alliance. He immediately goes to work approaching his candidates. They all meet in McCrae’s HOH room and agree to form the Moving Company (MC).

Another solid alliance forms between Aaryn and David. David latches on to Aaryn for her intelligence and because he finds her attractive, while Aaryn lathes on to David for his strength in competitions and his good looks.

Meanwhile, the houseguests finally determine that Elissa is Rachel Reilly’s sister. They pass the information around the house and the general consensus is that Elissa must be evicted first.

For the first Have/Have Not competition, the houseguests are split into 3 teams. One person from each team must make their way across a tiny lake in an inner tube to retrieve a canned drink from a giant cooler fill with super cold water. They must make their way back across the lake and then make a pyramid with the drinks on a wood plank held up by four other houseguests. If a team’s pyramid falls before it is completed, that team must start over again. Elissa, Andy, Judd, Howard and Helen became the Have Nots. They must eat slop, take cold showers and sleep in the airplane-themed Have Not room for the week. The room features airplane seats for beds.

McCrae makes the first nominations of the season. He puts Jessie and Candice on the chopping block.
