The announcement was made at the 80th annual meeting of the Independent Petroleum Association of America. Douglas R. Matthews, the President of U. S. Steel Tubular Products and VP of Tubular Operations for U. S. Steel presented Harold Korell with the Chief Roughneck bronze bust and hard hat.
