Silver Companies Show Mixed Results in Friday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top silver companies posted mixed results in Friday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies show a variety of results by noon in trading:

Hecla Mining (NYSE: ML) rose 17 cents, or 3.4 percent, to $5.18.

Pan American Silver (NASDAQ: PAAS) rose 13 cents, or 0.6 percent, to $22.64.

Silver Standard (NASDAQ: SSRI) fell 31 cents, or 1.6 percent, to $19.50.

Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW) fell 1 cent, or 0.1 percent, to $14.03.
